What the trial server keeps, in plain language, and why. The app itself has no part in any of this: every image you open stays on your own machine, during the trial and after you buy.

Nothing you open in HeliosSharp is ever uploaded. The only thing the app ever sends for an image is a fingerprint worked out from its own pixels, on your machine, so the trial can recognise a file you have already opened without ever seeing the file itself.
The email address you sign in with is used to sign you in and for nothing else. Sending you anything more, such as news about the app, needs your separate consent: an unticked box next to the sign-in field. Leave it unticked and nothing beyond a sign-in code is ever sent to that address.
Buying a licence is handled entirely by Gumroad, our payment processor. Your card details go to them, never to us; we only ever see the licence key and the purchase it is attached to.
The contact form sends your name, email address and message to us by email, so we can reply. To stop anyone flooding it, the site also keeps a hashed form of your network address, never the address itself, for one hour.
Sign-in codes for 15 minutes, the contact form's hashed network address for one hour, and the trial server's for 48 hours, all regardless of anything else. Your email address, fingerprints and counts, licence key and computer identifiers are kept for as long as your trial or licence is active, or until you ask us to delete them.
Use the contact page, or reply to your Gumroad receipt, or to any email HeliosSharp has sent you, and ask. We will tell you what is kept against your email address, correct it, or remove it and everything kept against it; if a trial is still running on that address, removing it ends it.
HeliosSharp is made and sold by Immersion Engine. For anything in this policy, use the contact page, or reply to your Gumroad receipt, or to any email HeliosSharp has sent you.
